Brad Newton is a Dallas-based photographer providing quality photography that speaks of his professionalism and his commitment to delivering a premium client experience.
His primary focus has always been on the relationships both in front of and behind the camera. There was always a camera around - a Brownie, a Polaroid, and even an 8mm movie camera. Shots of pets. Shots of brothers. A World War II action movie. In high school Brad served as the yearbook staff photographer armed with his trusty 35mm Sears SLR. In college (with the ubiquitous Sears camera) he flunked only one class. Photography. Huh? School just wasn’t his thing…
In 1980, working for a small newspaper, he found himself photographing an old-timers game at Arlington Stadium, home of the Texas Rangers. Five years later Brad became the team photographer for the Rangers. For 28 seasons he chronicled the history of the team, Hall of Fame inductions (Nolan Ryan), All-Star games and the World Series. He has been published in Sports Illustrated, in books such as the Pictorial History of Nolan Ryan, and commissioned work for sports card companies Donruss, Score, and Panini. During his time with the Texas Rangers, Brad’s photography expanded as he became a highly sought-after photographer for weddings, portraits, corporate events and the NFL.
Since 2015, Brad has worked with Grant Miller Photography. Grant’s photography covers political events, high-end corporate events and conferences. Brad has photographed a number of US Presidents, celebrities, major corporate events, global conferences and large church gatherings. Currently, Brad’s clients include the Dallas Cowboys, Southwest Airlines, the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce and the March of Dimes.
In addition to his photography he currently directs and performs in two improv comedy troupes which focus on bringing clean comedy to schools, churches, corporations and public venues.
Brad shares his life with a wonderful, patient and creative wife, three young adult step-daughters and a couple of dysfunctional dogs.
